What if "ALL" religion is wrong?

Here we are  at the beginning of 2010 and I look on TV to see that the World as we have been accustomed too is completely falling apart. The great divide of the Haves, and the Have nots has widened beyond measure. The "Haves" have only gotten more greedy, unethical, using fake-Patriotism, fake religion to pursue their endless quest to own everything that exists on Planet Earth.

The Greed that is displayed in the USA alone boggles the mind. CEOs, CFO, who have literally and physically destroyed 100 year old Universities, and 100 year old Corporations have run them into the ground and then have been rewarded with obscene salaries and bonuses. Current Political figures in top Government posts, like Larry Summers, and Tim Geithner who helped create the  business climate  that cheated consumers on Wall St, and in Real Estate, with Ponzi schemes, are at the  top posts in the current White House administration, and Rubin from the old Clinton days, and pugnacious Phil Gramm who helped to destroy the Glass/Steagall regulation for consumer protection  are all piggishly wealthy beyond comprehension.

The incompetence of the  Bush/ Cheney administration that has left all Americans with two failed wars for profit, a collapsed economy in shambles, with no way out, and yet both of these cowardly, spineless men will live out their  days in Royalty, collecting $10's of millions in compensation for their service of complete failure to all Americans.

And then there is Religion. Make believe, superstition that has created the worst unneeded form of intolerance that mankind could have inflicted on itself having no benefits except to make a few wealthy, and all the rest poor. Promising to house your "Soul" in the here after, when Religion cannot even get it right in the "Here"!

What if religion were always wrong from the very start? That flying men on clouds was just the imagination of  drug induced Shamans period? That death is final period? That the reason we, the Human species is on Planet Earth is only by Evolution, and that we will eventually die off as well?

How sad. Humanity has come so far, yet the con men, and some women have won the day, and the knowledgeable, the intellectual, the studied have lost. Fiction is winning over non Fiction. Superstition is winning over Science. Bad is winning over Good.

I know that it is not too late to make major changes in the USA or in the World, but we are definitely at a tipping point, where just around the corner, in time, we as a species will not be able to reverse course whether we like it or not.

De-forestation, clean drinking water, clean energy, healthy toxic free food, pollution, toxic waste, Nuclear waste, Nuclear war are all front and center and denial cannot work anymore for anybody with a conscience.

For those with no conscience than these are the best of times, for it is easy to prey on the weak, the unprotected, the defenseless and the hopeless.

If religion, or belief in a Super Natural deity  had any real value, or reality than it would have taken hold long ago, but instead we get religion's Apocalypse theories and push for the End of times mindset to punish the non believers.

Humanity, the Species, may be nearing it's own end simply because Greed, justified through religion needs to come to an end, or course correction, because Planet Earth is dying from abuse on a level never imagined by our ancestors, who actually worshipped the Natural, unlike the Greedy, ignorant and arrogant today who worship the fictional UN-Natural, and false idols..

What would Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, and all of the founding Fathers of our Great Nation be thinking had they known that they had fought off the British Monarchy only to see the America they created in deeds and thought,  be turned into  Politician/ insider trading/ Wall St. corrupt Government with a central Bank, the Federal Reserve managing all financial dealings?
Where the American Chamber of Congress works against the American citizen, at the behest of Global Corporate Conglomerates who have no loyalty to the USA at all?
Where the most crooked, self serving, Politicians using religion, false Nationalism, fear, and hate can  create war for profit that benefits just a handful at the expense of the entire Country, and all those who die under this banner of deception.
Where Corporate crooks can buy immunity with legal bribes to the very people, Washington Senators, and Congress people  that are suppose to be watching out for our welfare, but instead have sold the country to the greediest group of malcontents, spineless, unethical bunch of deadbeat brown nosers the World has ever seen.
Where we see that "Wrong" is now right!
Only because it makes more money.
Where the same Politicians that will take any bribe offered to them, can turn cheating on their wife's and families into a self serving photo opportunity, justified by religion and God.
Where the President  (Bush, the half-wit) and Vice President ( Dick, I'm not a crook Cheney) of the United States can lie  the country into 2 wars, sit on their collective asses during 9/11 without any regard to morality, invade other countries on a whim, killing 100,000's  innocents, and putting 1,000's of American soldiers to an early grave, simply walk away from this unimaginable failure and then live out their life's as Kings, patting themselves on the back for a job well done, giving themselves awards, and bonuses. Building monuments in their names, building roads, and bridges in their names, building schools in their names.
How in the Hell can this freaking happen!
Well there you have it, the two poster boys for Corporate greed, intolerant, racist, bigoted behavior topped off with pure arrogant piggishness, and complete ignorance of History is the face of easy to come by known knowledge. Not to mention, the destroyer of American civil rights.

What is the difference of the "Good Guys" and the "Bad Guys" in life?

One group of people, the Good Guys  use "Human" ethics and morality to make choices of every kind, and the second group of people, the Bad Guys use whatever means is necessary to accomplish their task.

Ethics or no ethics. Morality or no morality.

The end justifies the means to this second group.

Normally we call this second group Criminals.

I am not talking religious ethics and morality because then we get into torturing women for clothing choices, witch burning, stoning women to death for any reasons, degradation of females for the benefit of males justified by the use of a fictional God, and for that subject I will tear religion a new asshole in another piece!

In America we stand behind the notion that fairness, compassion, tolerance, sympathy, empathy, kindness, discipline, strength, courage, sportsmanship, leadership are the ultimate qualities of a Human being. That these qualities we would want our children to learn and practice throughout their lives as well, because this shows that we have evolved above and beyond simple animal nature.

What does it say then that the President, and Vice President of the previous administration, G.W. Bush and Dick Cheney believed that in order to accomplish their goal of protecting the citizens of the USA that they would condone the use of torture? That even though the USA and other countries around the World had signed a Geneva convention agreement  60 + years ago not to use torture for any reason, that these two men G.W. Bush and Dick Cheney thought that they would throw away this bilateral agreement and instead make their own unilateral agreement that only they would vote for, and not the rest of the citizens of America, standing 300 Million strong?

These same two men that never went to war. These same two cowardly men that did not have or want anything to do with "protecting" American interests during the Vietnam war. These same two men that created fictional reasons to invade Iraq where 100,000's of Iraqi citizens have died, and over 5,000 US servicemen and  women gave their lives for absolutely no reason other than being used as pawns to protect the interests of Corporate Oil companies, Halliburton, and the Military Industrial Complex of America.

That these same two men decided that torture is the only way to get information from prisoners whom the USA was and is responsible for to this very minute and whereas  the CIA interrogators and the CIA itself has repeatedly stated that it is much better to use alternative methods for recovering information without torture. That these two men, G.W.Bush and Dick Cheney each being married, and having children, Mothers and Fathers, felt that the only way to get information was to torture other human beings, and in many cases condone killing these prisoners in our care would also be the same men that say that they receive their marching orders from God?
It is way past time to prosecute these two war criminals G.W. Bush and Dick Cheney to the fullest extent of the law so that the US of A can set an example to ourselves and to the World that when people in the service of their country, in leadership positions in the highest offices of American politics, commit heinous crimes of morality, they will be held accountable, and punished.
