The only Species to believe in make Believe.

It is very easy to see where Humanity has come from when you look at our collective Histories all over Planet Earth. We as a species, through evolution have gradually evolved from the weakest, the slowest, the most defenseless creatures, to now the most destructive, brutal and heartless, but all by choice.
Through the use of larger brains we have the ability to reason in the moment and in the future, and because of this we are capable of projecting thought. We can see past the present moment and question what comes next. Next minute, next hour, next day, next year, next decade. No other animal does this!
Just Humans.
Understanding that our past was one that in essense we barely survived and that our competition did not, only by a slime margin. Our brain size enabled Humans to create language, thought, tools,weapons all in order so that we can move forward, having no other fate than simple existence, no different than today.
Our ability to think also came with a lot of unnecessary baggage, the ability to believe in the make believe. The reasons are many but mainly because this ability to ponder all questions also meant that there must be answers to each question and as we evolved we had no answers to anything, so we had to invent answers.
Along comes our make believe World, of Spirits, Gods, Superstition, luck, miracles. At the time this fit nicely because one did not have to have facts to use these make believe answers, only that one believes in the answers.
Fast forward to 2010 A.D., the World as we know it has given us the many answers to the many questions we have asked through the different areas of Science. We now know that we can prove without a doubt many of the same things we could not prove in our past. We now know that the Sun does not revolve around the Earth. We now now that there are billions of Stars in Billions of Galaxies, each having billions of planets orbiting them. We now know that the Earth is not flat, we now know that that Earth is some 4.5 Billion years in the making and that the Universe and Solar system since the big Bang is roughly 14.4 Billion years old. We now know that the Dinosaurs were wiped out from the impact of a 9 mile across Comet/ Asteroid/ Meteor, some 63 Million years ago along the coast of the the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. We now know about plate tectonics and why we have Earth quakes, We now know why Hurricanes in the Atlantic evolve from the dry desert winds coming from the African Continent, onto a small Island chain that eventually creates the right conditions to form weather patterns that become Hurricanes. We now know why Tornadoes form. We now know the mechanics of the body we have in order to stay healthy.
We now know that cause and effect rules the Universe in every aspect.
We now know that a make believe God has nothing to do with anything.
We now know so much of what we did not know in only a short time ago, and yet we still have this need to believe in the make believe - religion.
With all that we now know, how can anyone continue to actually believe or think that there is a floating cloud man in the sky making decisions for all things?
Religion itself is all belief and no facts.
All hearsay, and no proof.
Why do we allow ourselves to use what is not there, only  to justify our existence anymore.
We have the answers people!
There are no miracles.
There is no luck.
There are no Gods, and never were!
The World is at a tipping point because of the need by religion to impose it's own ignorance on all creatures of the Planet.
The Human race is destroying itself and Planet Earth, and it is doing so in the name of religion and a make believe God,  that has never existed, and never will exist.
Wake up Human race, there is still time to right this catastrophic wrong that we have created for ourselves.
There is no End Days coming, no Apocalypse, no Heaven and no Hell, no reincarnation.
There is only Humankind's need to make up answers to justify War, to justify greed, to justify racism, to justify ignorance, to justify bigotry, to justify intolerance, to justify, hate and fear, this, when the real answers are right there in front of us, both physically and visually!
What we now know is that everything is made up of energy, at different wave lengths, different speeds. That we have a Spirit, and that this Spirit has a fate that is determined only by our collective actions and not by the Super Natural Being.
Your life, and my life, from the conception of sperm and egg to the last breath is not determined. You and I will determine the outcome by our own choices, and the interactions of billions of variables happening all the time.
Your fate and mine is what "we" will make of it.
This means your life and mine can take one of many courses and journeys, and the limitations will be by our own choosing.
Choice, consequence, and responsibility.
The gift of life, is life.
 It is precious, and it will only come once.
Don't waste it.
Every day that you wake up again, is a good day!

What if today was your last day to be alive?

If today was your last day of life, and you had no illness or injury  to prevent you from doing what you would like to do, what would it be?

Would the TV, or the computer have any significance?

Would you like to just stay indoors and watch movies, News, read the paper on the computer or write to friends?

Would you be pissed off at the people who owe you money or who screwed you over at some point in your life?

Would it be payback time for the people who did you wrong during your life, and who you never did quite seem to get even with ?

Would you feel compassion and empathy now for people who are like you, with life coming to an end, who have no more choices in life?

Would you feel remorse for your own actions of selfishness, and greed, or laziness, and spite?

Would you like to just go outside, enjoy a warm summer day, blue sky, ocean breeze, sparkling waves at the coast, with people playing at the beach, with not a care in the World?

Watch the birds fly by so gracefully in the sunlight, gliding in the wind, watch a lizard run by your feet in the sand and into the bushes, watch Dolphins jumping in the ocean like kids playing at the park, surfing the waves like only they can?

Perhaps you would go to the Desert or the River, or a Lake, or the Mountains instead to get away from people altogether, get away from man-made noises and just contemplate what your life had been like?

Did you accomplish what you wanted to do in life?

Would you go hang gliding, parachute, white water river rafting, learn to surf, mountain climb, base jump, race a car, a motorcycle, eat every food of choice, visit family, friends, enemies?

Do you think that you actually did very little with your life, other than being alive for a certain number of years?

In your own terms did you help or hinder mankind?

Did you make life better or worse for the people around you, your environment, your family?

Did you finally realise that hate, love, racism, bigotry, tolerance, fear, compassion, religion, politics etc.... are all learned during your life time and that you were never born with any of these thoughts, but instead had to learn all of them?
Would you finally understand how precious life is, every minute, every day, every month, every year?
Would you?

Would you be able to end it all today, knowing that this is the final day of your existence, that there is no more time left, there is no Heaven, no Hell, no reincarnation, no nothing, that your life is over here on planet Earth and that you are never coming back ever?

The Meaning of Life.

What is the meaning of life?

There isn't any, other than in that you create or make up whatever meaning you want to have. Your life is not predetermined by anything other than cause and effect from the choices you make. But what is remotely determined is that everything is interconnected to each other. The Earth itself is a living thing, constantly changing never static and so is each of our lives, always changing, never staying the same. From the moment sperm cell enters the egg, change is on the get go, from 2 cells multiply into 4, into 8, into 16 and so on and so on. When each of us is born there is no blueprint to what we will become, how long we will live, what we will accomplish or not accomplish. The only thing for certain at this point in time is that we are a mixture, and mutation of genetics from our Mother's side  of the family and our Father's side of his family dating back to the beginning of Humanity and beyond, Evolution.

So nothing is preordained at birth other than being alive. From this point forward, your immediate future is in the hands of your first teachers in life, your parents. Your parents, or parent (Mom) will lay the ground work for who you will become as you grow up. Your intelligence level, your drive, your understanding of ethics, your emotional balance, your sense of who you are, will be taught to you by your parent or parents. If you have a happy, loving personality with tolerance to others, other cultures, other people, care for our environment than most likely this was what you were taught from your parents. If you have fear, hate, low self esteem, have racist, bigoted, intolerant thoughts and actions, see the environment as something only to make money from, than this too was most likely taught to you as well, by your parent or parents when you were very young. Much of what we are personality wise as we age from birth to death, from the first 10 years of life  is taught to us in our own homes, by Mom, and/ or with Dad. We become what our environment allows us to be. In America and other countries with higher levels of living standards  at 10 years old most likely you would be in school, private or public. But for kids at 10 years of age everywhere else  you may be in the streets working, or begging for money to stay alive. It just depends on when you were born and where you live.

Today while I was out surfing with a buddy of mine, for some reason he mentioned to me that in his opinion one person cannot really do much to change the way the World is or it's future and I said to him I disagree. In fact, I believe one person, any person can make all the difference in the World by their actions.

Than my friend said" Imagine if Bobby Kennedy had never been shot"?  What if?  Imagine if Hitler, Osama Bin Laden, Pol Pot, Stalin,  Bush Sr., Bush Jr., Cheney, Teddy Roosevelt, Rockefeller, Howard Hughes,   had died in infancy? One person can make a hell of a difference.....

Now back to you, and what are you doing here on Planet Earth.. You are here because you managed, with all the diseases, all the wars, all the things that could have taken your life, you have been fortunate not to have died yet. Of course you will die, just not yet.

What have you made of yourself? Do you like who you are? Could the World be better or worse if you live or die? Are you here only to populate the planet? Who even cares that you are here in the first place? These questions take a little thought, because you could have many different answers to them. But if you are here, what is the meaning of your existence other than taking up space?

There really is none.

You are whoever you want to be. Whatever you choose to do, to learn, to become is not predetermined but will come from your own choices, influenced by your environment, whether that is forced upon you or you have freedom to choose on your own.

So you yourself are the reason for being here. You make your life meaningful by deciding what your core values are, accomplishing allot or absolutely nothing. There is a middle ground for all things, and that tends to be a good area to be. Being an alcoholic, or being non-drinking, being a drug user, or never using drugs, beating your wife, or never having any ability to hurt the ones you love.

You alone give meaning to your life!

You can justify this any way to want or choose. Religion, God, revenge, anger, hate, jealousy, love, kindness, compassion, patience. It is all up to you.

But will God force you to do anything?

No, because there isn't any God.
You alone are responsible for why you have any meaning to your life, and nobody else.
So now you have no more reason to say "poor me". Your life is exactly what you will make of it.

God, who is this guy anyway?

The Greatest Story ever told is bogus!

The God story.

 I always liked the movie "The Ten Commandments" with Charlton Heston, he played a very good and powerful Moses image. Long hair, long beard, toga robe, opinionated, narrow minded, sometimes violent, always self - righteous. But this is also the same image of God in every other story, or

fable of God, only that quite often God is seen floating on a cloud in space as well.

 Is it any wonder at all that our ancestors believed in something mythical, magical, superstitious, fake, processed, conjured up, completely false, out and out a lie?
Look what passes for the truth today where you have access to the Worlds known knowledge and yet the same lie exist. FOX TV, racism, hate, bigotry, intolerance, ignorance, jealousy. How is this?
Once we learned that the Earth is not flat, how can people still believe that it is?
Fear!
Fear of the unknown. Fear that there is no Super natural being making decisions for a trillion, trillion, trillion things going on  at the same moment in the Universe. Fear that there is nothing after Death.  No Heaven, no Hell, no return ticket back to existence to try again. Fear that there is no one looking out for you as you journey through life. Fear that you are absolutely on your own from Birth to Death!
In Egyptian Hermetics God is all things, everything that ever was, is and will be, but their concept is closer to the Big Bang concept in that if God is everything than everything is God. Stands to reason if you think this way than God is both good and bad, loving and hateful, gentle and forceful. It would mean that God just is. That would mean God is a warm summer day, or a beheading in Iraq. God is a loving puppy dog or puppy dog fecal matter too. So in this concept there is never a way to separate God from anything, anytime, any place, any event. It is all God. In fact in Egyptian Hermetics God is actually called "The ALL", for he/it/she is inseparable from all things.
The big difference of the Big Bang theory of cause and effect of energy with no direction emotionally from any  Super natural being or not, and Hermetics is that in Hermetics God's purpose, it's  real purpose  is of giving Humans something to know, and believe  and use more as a statement of fact, but with no Human emotional factor thrown in for comfort. Thus no Human image. God would be seen more like photos seen from the Hubble telescope of distant space/time of planets and stars by the billions. So according to Hermetics you are on your own but the energy of the Universe is at your use if you learn how to use it.  For the religious, Jewish, Christian, and Islamic faiths in  the Old and New Testament, in all the  descriptions of him,  God  has Human qualities, Human emotions, a Human look and everything God does is based on " HIS" human related emotions..God looks just like a Old man, but most certainly  man's image and not a women.  For the religious person, a  religious God is the composer of all things, but only when they are to their liking and when they are not, they created the Devil as a necessary villain because they don't want to have to explain to people that God is both loving and brutally violent. Who would believe this even in the Ancient World or the modern World?
Turns out, most everybody then and now.
That is why in religion it  is such a dismal failure for  religion to use God for anything, for it is no more than a sham.
Today in 2009 AD. 1,000's of years after  Judaism began, over 2,000 years since Jesus, and 1,500 years since Mohammad was walking the Earth, millions of Humans will die, and none of them will receive a magical life saving hand from or be shown any mercy from any God. None!
Thousands will be born today with physical handicaps of no legs, arms, sight, brain damage, genetic problems and not one of these poor souls will receive a miracle from God. They will just have to suffer for as long as they are alive. That could mean that they die at Birth, in the womb or at any time in their lives.
More people have been killed, butchered, brutalised, maimed, tortured, beat, hung, shot, stabbed, be-headed, buried alive etc...... using God and religion as a justification than any other Human concept, along with greed.
God was never there to save any of these people from a grizzly death.
I have news for you folks reading this, or never reading this. There is no God, never was, and never will be. You are on your own. If you want and need help in life you will need to form some alliances. These other people will be the only physical support you will ever receive. On top of that you will always have access to and can use the energies of the Universe that are here everyday, all the time.
Positive thinking, knowledge, facts, science, your own good choices and your own good behavior will be your best guide to any prosperous, enjoyable future.
Don't be a victim, instead be the Director of your own life and your own Happiness.
It is yours if you truly want it, but it will take effort, some discipline, and time.
